The Cakeaway

The Cakeaway is one of our most popular offerings. At Harrison’s Hideaway, we have different cakes for sale by the slice every day, but we also sell cakes that are made to order for special occasions.

Smithy’s Pond

Smithy’s Pond, Tackle, & Bait Shop is Brigg’s best kept secret. It is a peaceful place to fish, hidden away at the very end of the Island Carr Estate. There are 16 pegs to choose from and free parking on site.

About Harrison’s Hideaway

We first opened our doors in 2016, initially hoping to serve fishermen visiting Smithy’s Pond and a few locals working on the Island Carr Industrial Estate. Word quickly got out about our little cafe selling home cooked food and people started coming from further afield.

In 2017, it soon became apparent that our little 16 seat cafe wasn’t big enough to accommodate our growing number of customers, so we took the plunge and expanded it, enabling us to welcome 50 people. We also have an outdoor decking area which is especially popular in the sunny months.
